Starting from the beginning…
March and April are all about planning! Have you been dreaming about your summer garden projects all winter? Well, now’s the time to dive in! Our store is fully stocked with seeds, soils, pots & more…everything you need to start preparations for your garden.
Help support our community….
Every year, we hold a plant sale on the Friday before our two biggest weekends to help raise money for The Children’s Room.
The Room is a free space in Brookside Elementary in downtown Waterbury that allows local families with small children to meet, learn and play in a safe environment. Along with more formal weekly programs, the Room is an excellent place for both kids and parents to socialize, network, and become closer with their community.
We can’t thank all the hardworking parents and teachers who make this special place possible enough, so we do what we can each year by having our Plant Sale!
On May 9th and May 23rd this year, between 5pm - 7pm, 20% of all purchases* go directly to the Children’s Room to help support their programming.
*We ask that purchases be made by cash or check, due to the fact that we do not charge our customers a credit card fee.
