With spring in full swing here at the greenhouses and summer on its way, we are so excited to welcome you back for another season of planning, planting and growing your garden.

May in Vermont is the best time of year at a garden center. We can finally welcome you in to see and buy all the plants we’ve been busy growing since February! While the days can be warm and inviting, always be sure to keep your eye on the night time temperatures. Annuals from the greenhouse are hardened off to 50 degrees Farenheit and most will not tolerate temps below 40. Our average last frost date here in Waterbury is May 25th.

As the spring goes on, make sure to check back often as we continue to receive our inventory of trees, shrubs and perennials weekly. If you visit our garden center and don’t see what you’re looking for, ask one of our employees if we can order it for you! We will continue to receive shipments from our suppliers for several months, and new perennials and annuals arrive weekly.

Happy planting!
